The following driving bans will soon take effect in our neighbouring countries: Belgium - France - Germany
Belgium
Saturday 1 November and Tuesday 11 November
The driving ban will come into effect at 4 p.m. the day before and end at midnight on the day itself.
In other words:
Driving ban from Friday the 31st of October at 4 p.m. until Sunday the 2nd of November at midnight.
This ban will be lifted in the Flamish Part by adding the note “Driving Time Exemption. Public Holidays dated 20 December 2022” on you valid permit.
Driving ban Monday 10 November at 4 p.m. until Tuesday the 11th November at midnight.
This ban is lifted by adding the note to the valid permit.
France
Saturday 1 November and Tuesday 11 November
The driving ban will come into effect at 12:00 noon the day before and will end at sunrise the day after the public holiday.
So this means driving ban:
Friday 31th October 12.00 noon until Monday 3th November at sunrise
Monday 10 November 12.00 noon until Wednesday 12 November at sunrise
Germany
Friday 31 October and Saturday 1 November
The driving ban starts on Friday 00.01 am and ends on Sunday 2nd November 22.00 pm depending on what the permit requires and/or is applicable in different German federal states.
