Polish authorities are tightening controls on the reporting obligation for SENT Permits and RMPD Registration.
The well-known SENT Permit (Electronic Transport Monitoring System) is mandatory for all combinations in Poland with a maximum allowed mass of over 3.5 tons. In addition to the mandatory SENT Permit, non-EU or EEA Carriers must report their trip to the RMPD before starting transport on the territory of the Republic of Poland. The register of notifications and the notification forms are available online on the PUESC platform: https://puesc.gov.pl
Transports carried out without notification to SENT and/or RMPD are treated as transports carried out without a permit for the transport of goods by road. There are penalties for violating the obligation to report the transport to the RMPD register or GPS monitoring. These can be imposed on both the carrier and the driver. Fines are also imposed for errors in the reports or failure to update them.
In the absence of a PL toll OBU (the well-known toll box), the E.TOLL Pl App (the app on your phone) supports the application for transports/journeys that are monitored by the SENT System.
